How the Integration Works

The OwnerRez + Direct Booking Tools integration brings DBT’s direct-booking conversion technology directly into the OwnerRez booking experience.

Once connected through OwnerRez’s secure authorization process, Direct Booking Tools syncs the property information needed to power its tools. The Price Comparison Tool can then be embedded within OwnerRez Hosted Websites or websites using the OwnerRez booking widget, allowing guests to compare the direct booking price against OTA pricing without leaving the property page.

The result is a more transparent shopping experience that helps reinforce the value of booking direct while giving property managers additional insight into guest shopping behavior and demand.

Cart Saver

Reinforce the book-direct savings message during checkout to help reduce booking abandonment. OwnerRez included Cart Saver as one of the primary DBT features in its integration announcement.

Booking Demand Insights

Capture forward-looking demand signals based on guest shopping activity, helping operators understand where future booking interest is developing.

OTA Price Alerts

Identify situations where the direct booking price exceeds the OTA price so the operator can investigate pricing discrepancies before they affect conversion.

OwnerRez Property Sync

After authorization, Direct Booking Tools pulls the property information required to configure properties within DBT. Webhooks are used to keep property data synchronized.

Seamless Website Integration

DBT can be installed on an OwnerRez Hosted Website or a custom website using the OwnerRez Availability/Booking widget.

Real-Time Price Comparison

Display the direct booking total alongside comparable OTA pricing so guests can instantly see the value of booking directly. OwnerRez specifically describes DBT as providing a “real-time, dynamic price comparison platform.”
